Terms of use
In short: the guides are free for students and teachers to read, print, share, and adapt. There are no accounts and no ads. Contributions are reviewed by moderators, and everyone is expected to keep things kind and classroom-appropriate.
Using the site
ReadingClub.wiki is a free, volunteer-run educational resource. Students, teachers, librarians, and reading groups may use it for study and discussion, including printing guides and handing them out in class. The guides support reading the novels; they aren’t a substitute for them.
Licence for guide text
Unless a page says otherwise, guide text on ReadingClub.wiki is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). You can copy and adapt it for your class or school as long as you credit ReadingClub.wiki and share your adaptation under the same licence.
The novels the guides discuss are in the public domain. The site’s name, logo, and design are not covered by the licence above.
Contributing and moderation
- Every suggested edit is reviewed by a volunteer moderator before it is published.
- By submitting an edit, you agree to release it under CC BY-SA 4.0.
- Only submit material you wrote yourself. Don’t copy questions or summaries from publishers’ reading guides, study sites, or other copyrighted sources.
- Students should check with a teacher before contributing, and should never include personal details such as a name, school, or contact information.
- Moderators may revise, move, or decline contributions to keep guides accurate and consistent with the house rules.
Keeping it classroom-safe
Discuss the book, not the person. Content must be appropriate for a school setting; mature themes in the novels themselves should be handled thoughtfully and flagged in a guide’s content notes. We remove spam, harassment, and vandalism.
No warranty
Guides are written by volunteers and offered as they are. We work to keep them accurate, but we can’t guarantee that every chapter reference or summary is error-free, and we aren’t liable for how the material is used. Teachers should review any guide before assigning it.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Questions are welcome at hello@readingclub.wiki.
